Activated charcoal isn’t like the wood-burning fuel you might use for your grill. It’s gone through an extra heating process to “activate” different properties. One of the results of this is the ability to eliminate dental stains – or at least, that’s what some media influencers and oral hygiene companies claim. If true, activated charcoal would be a cost-effective and easily accessible teeth whitening agent.
